This is one of two paintings that Tich drew inspiration from actress Dan Le, a woman with a soft appearance, yet retains a powerful personality. The combination of the chair’s brocade motifs and Dan Le's floral dress is intricate, while behind them are the unrefined grinding lines. Solid gold leaves are infused into the painting to imitate the sunlight lurking through the window.
